The Marketing Programs Manager plans, implements, delivers and evangelizes GoAhead marketing programs to support the growth of GoAhead Software brand, products and services. This person supports sales with key tools; evangelizes GoAhead success; stays abreast of industry and competitor news; evangelizes the GoAhead brand and ensures adherence; generates leads; builds and maintains relationships with colleagues, vendors, partners and prospects; and reports on activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Plan and implement marketing plans and programs to support company objectives
- Build and foster relationships with key channel partners; collaborate with partners to plan and implement marketing programs aimed at growing channel revenue
- Participate in the design, development and delivery of core sales tools including but not limited to sales presentation, website, data sheet, technical product description
- Develop case studies, solution briefs, project profiles and other tactical sales materials to showcase GoAhead success
- Evaluate and understand market research and the competitive landscape; incorporates these findings when executing plans and programs
- Plan and implement brand awareness initiatives, including contributed articles, speaking engagements, advertising, collateral, website, corporate newsletter and other promotions via a variety of vehicles (print, online, electronic media, direct mail, etc.)
- Plan and implement lead generation campaigns including tradeshows, webinars, partner events, call blitzes, speaking engagements, print and online campaigns, etc.
- Collaborate effectively with sales on development, implementation and reporting on lead generation campaigns; growth, development and maintenance of customer database
- Plan and implement brand loyalty campaigns including webinars, demos, tradeshows, company newsletter, surveys and other activities designed to optimize customer perception of GoAhead
- Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors, partners and organizations to successfully design, implement and deliver marketing initiatives and materials
- Assist in implementation of company public relations plan
- Ensure brand adherence throughout products, as well as internal and external marketing materials
- Carry out initiatives in line with marketing budget
- Report on all marketing activity
The Marketing Programs Manager should have the following key traits: excellent communication (written and verbal); results-driven; creative; sees project from origination through completion; enjoys variety; strong eye for aesthetic; attention to detail; enjoys working with people; good sense of humor; enjoys laid back environment and opportunity to directly impact GoAhead success. Candidate should have a B.A. in a related field and 7-10 years relevant experience.
Software Developer
Currently, GoAhead is seeking a Software Developer to join its technical team. This position designs, develops, documents, and tests software for a variety of operating systems. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Specifies, designs, implements and tests embedded management software.
- Writes and presents key engineering documents including procedures, specifications, design, test and user documents.
- Consults with other engineering staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall build.
- Learns and applies new programming languages and other technologies as necessary to achieve company goals.
- Builds web-based user interfaces for new and existing products.
- Acts as mentor to more junior developers and motivates and encourages contributions towards a successful team effort.
- Act as an information resource for company products and provide informal training to more junior developers and other positions within company as needed.
- Provides support to marketing, sales, client services and customers concerning design and maintenance of software products.
Qualifications include a BS degree and 4 or more years experience designing and implementing sophisticated software systems; a thorough understanding of state-of-the-art tools and technologies for software design and development; excellent proficiency in C language with exposure to C++ and/or Java language; a thorough working knowledge of Linux operating systems; and experience developing and debugging with the GNU tool chain. Experience with the design and implementation of telecom network elements is highly desirable.
