RadiSys and GoAhead Demonstrate Application-Ready Platform at AdvancedTCA Summit 2005
Standards-based, Commercial-off-the-Shelf Solution Speeds Time to Market and Reduces Costs
BELLEVUE, Wash. –– December 6, 2005 –– RadiSys® (Nasdaq: RSYS), a leading supplier of advanced embedded systems, and GoAhead® Software, the expert in building integrated middleware for highly available systems, today announced that the two companies will jointly demonstrate an application ready platform at the first annual Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) Summit at the Wyndham Hotel in San Jose, December 6-8.
The two companies will showcase a solution that features GoAhead’s application-ready, high availability platform, SelfReliant®, running on the RadiSys Promentum™ ATCA SYS-6000-- a carrier grade, platform targeted at control and services plane applications. This demonstration features an internet protocol (IP) multimedia subserver (IMS) application where voice calls are made between two session initiation protocol (SIP)-enabled phones, illustrating just one of many potential applications that can benefit from such
a platform.

Naseem will present two sessions: “Building Carrier-Grade Systems with ATCA,” December 7 and on December 8, on behalf of the Service Availability™ Forum (SA Forum), he will present “Making Telecommunications Equipment Design Platform Independent.”
